With an animal sanctuary, heritage museum and restaurant there is plenty for the whole family to see and do at Rosedale Homestead.
The animal sanctuary and petting zoo has a wide range of domestic, native and exotic animals including kangaroos, camels, a bird aviary, goats, horses, donkeys, cows, llamas and much more.
The restaurant showcases local farm produce and unique Tasmanian beer, wine and ciders.
The heritage museum shows what life was like on the Peninsula for early settlers, convicts and the original custodians of the land, the Parrdarrama Pungenna people. Interactive displays of industrial machinery and household items of the time show how resourceful and innovative these people were.
