The Tasman Peninsula is a great place all year round for bird watchers and hikers with all twelve endemic Tasmanian birds found here.
A range of pelagic bird species including albatrosses, petrels and shearwaters can be seen especially on a day out with Tasman Island Cruises or one of the other tour operators.
Bird watchers can also see wedge-tailed eagles and white-bellied sea eagles.
